Vachetta Leather & Handles: The Toron handles, handle attachments, and side leather tabs have developed a uniform, golden-brown honey patina; the leather is supple, stable, and fully capable of bearing weight with normal, vintage-typical signs of wear and discreet edge abrasion. Edges & Piping: The surrounding leather piping on both sides is intact along its entire length with only minimal, age-appropriate edge wear. Interior & Date Code: The brown textile inner lining is dry and clean with only slight, discreet signs of wear; the inner leather tab with the clearly embossed date code SP1902 shows authentic vintage oxidation on the rivet head (verdigris on the brass), but is absolutely firm and secure.
