Vachetta Leather, Toron Handles, and Side Tabs (Important Condition Note): The handles and leather trims show a pronounced warm amber patina; the handles have darkening and fine wrinkles from use and age; the side leather tabs and zipper pull show normal vintage dryness and superficial edge wear; on the rivet of the inner date code tab, the characteristic greenish patina of the brass (verdigris) is visible; the handles are securely stitched and stable. Edges and Piping: The surrounding leather piping and rounded edges are intact; normal age-related edge wear is visible on the bottom corners. Lining and Date Code (Important Condition Note): The brown textile lining is dry and structurally intact; on the bottom of the bag and the lower inner walls, there are light, whitish marks and shadows from previous contact with moisture; the inner pocket is fully usable; the Vachetta leather tab with the early date code 853 is deeply, sharply, and perfectly legibly embossed.
