Ad title: Louis Vuitton Speedy Vintage Handbag (70s/80s - Swiss Made Zip) Description: Beautiful vintage Louis Vuitton Speedy bag, iconic model in brown Monogram coated canvas and natural cowhide leather. This is a very old collector's piece (dating from before the 1980s, when Louis Vuitton did not yet put serial numbers/date codes on its bags). Vintage authenticity details: Original zip engraved "SWISS MADE" on the back of the slider (characteristic of vintage LV bags from that era). Metal rivets engraved "Louis Vuitton". "Louis Vuitton Paris made in France" heat-stamped on the leather tab. General condition: Good vintage condition. Monogram canvas: In perfect condition, no cracks or holes, the colors remain very beautiful. Cowhide leather: Beautiful vintage honey patina. Some signs of wear and the gilding of the studs is slightly patinated (natural verdigris has been cleaned). Interior: Clean, in original brown textile lining. Zipper: The zip works very well. Note: the leather pull tab has detached over time. The original piece of leather engraved with LV has been kept and will be provided with the bag (possibility to have it resewn or restored easily at a cobbler).
