Few decisions during Marc Jacobs' tenure at Louis Vuitton were as bold as the Monogram Miroir collection, first released for Holiday 2006. It reimagined the brand's signature print in reflective metallic PVC rather than traditional leather, a choice that felt genuinely provocative at the time. The response was immediate and intense — waiting lists formed, and celebrities like Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian, and Lindsay Lohan were frequently photographed with pieces from the line. The collection's significance has only grown since, with the V&A now holding a Miroir Speedy in its permanent design collection. The Bellevue GM represents the rarest end of this already limited range. It was created exclusively for the opening of Louis Vuitton's Canton Road flagship in Hong Kong on 16 March 2008 — then the brand's largest store across Asia and outside of Paris — with two colourways produced and divided strictly between the city's two boutiques: gold available only at Canton Road, silver reserved solely for the store in The Landmark, with no overlap between them. Condition: Good, with the mirrored PVC retaining much of its original shine. The exterior remains in good shape overall, with only mild signs of use that aren't immediately obvious. There's a small area of distortion in the PVC near the bottom left corner, close to the seam, which counts as a minor flaw and is shown in the photos. The base is in good condition, with no visible damage. Some light wear appears along the base seams, along with minor surface wear to the PVC edges from regular handling. The flat PVC handles show more pronounced creasing due to storage, having softened and folded slightly — a characteristic that comes with age in Miroir PVC and doesn't affect usability. The grey textile interior is in very good condition, with only light wear. The interior pocket shows minimal signs of use as well. Includes the original material documentation card and booklet.
