Louis Vuitton Vernis Tompkins Square handbag in a beautiful metallic bronze/caramel colorway. Crafted in glossy Monogram Vernis patent leather with natural vachetta leather trim and rolled handles. Features a zip-top closure, exterior slip pocket, protective metal feet, and smooth leather-lined interior. Date code BA0060, made in France in 2000. Very good vintage condition. Vernis remains glossy and vibrant with light creasing and signs of age consistent with normal use. Interior is exceptionally clean. Vachetta trim and handles have developed a natural honey patina with minor wear and creasing at the handle bases. Hardware is bright and fully functional. A rare and increasingly hard-to-find early Vernis piece that perfectly captures Louis Vuitton’s iconic Y2K era while remaining elegant and highly wearable today.
