Marni fringe leather shopping tote in black calf, circa 2014–2016, Consuelo Castiglioni period. Archival piece. Made in Italy. No date code, which is normal for Marni of this era. Vertical leather fringe on the front, two flat handles, gold zippers on both sides. Unzipped, the gusset opens onto espresso-coffee leather panels and the bag shifts from a flat rectangle to a wider trapezoid. Unlined: the interior is the reverse of the main leather. Label is red embroidered MARNI on an ivory strip, set in a black leather frame. Blind-stamped MADE IN ITALY. Matching black leather zip pouch with the same label. Condition: very good. Fringe intact, handles clean, zippers working. Light wear on the interior leather. No dust bag or receipt. Measurements: about 13 in wide, 15 in high, strap drop 9.5 in. Depth is slim when zipped and wider when the side zips are open.
