Bands of beige, pink, yellow, and deep blue cotton canvas form painterly stripes across this Marni tote, accented at one handle by a gold-tone chain and a flower charm. The surface is soft and pliable, with each stripe edged in slightly irregular lines—a deliberate hand-drawn effect that sets the print apart from a graphic, factory-finished look. The bag can be carried by two thick, woven cotton straps, designed for both hand and shoulder carry. Inside, a beige fabric lining conceals a single zippered pocket for essentials, while the open main compartment is framed by gold-tone hardware at each attachment point. The corners of the base show minor wear, but the overall structure remains supple. Comes with the original box. This design is a quintessential example of the Consuelo Castiglioni era at Marni—circa the mid-to-late 2000s—when art-school-inspired stripes and off-register colors became hallmarks of the house. The raw-edged canvas and mismatched color palette echo the Milanese interiors and painterly mood that defined Castiglioni’s early accessories work. Condition: Very Good — minor scuffing on the bottom corners Material: Multicolored cotton canvas with gold-tone hardware and fabric straps Color: Beige, pink, yellow, and dark blue striped exterior; beige fabric lining; gold-tone chain detail Dimensions: W 27.5 × H 26 × D 9 cm Comes with: Original box Made in: Italy Era: c. mid-to-late 2000s (visual dating; painterly stripes, chain charm, and unlabeled interior consistent with Marni totes from the Consuelo Castiglioni era)
