A striking Miu Miu statement bag crafted in supple Nappa leather in a very deep eggplant purple that can appear nearly black in lower light. The richly textured quilted construction is framed by rows of gold-tone studs, giving this bag the feminine-meets-edgy aesthetic for which Miu Miu is known. The front is finished with a substantial gold-tone turn-lock closure, while leather-woven chain shoulder straps add another layer of texture and shine. Inside, the bag opens to a lighter plum-purple satin-lined interior with multiple sections for organization. The rich purple palette is especially beautiful in person—the exterior is a sophisticated dark aubergine while the interior provides a softer tonal contrast. The deep eggplant leather remains supple with beautiful color and an attractive natural sheen. There is normal softening, creasing and light surface wear consistent with previous use, along with light rubbing at the corners and edges. The gold-tone studs and chain hardware remain bright overall with scratches and finish wear visible from use, particularly to the turn-lock hardware. The lighter purple satin interior presents well with light signs of previous use. Please review the detailed photographs, which form an important part of the condition description.
