Moschino handbag from the vintage luxury leather goods collection in collaboration with Redwall, crafted from patent leather in various colors. CONDITION/SIZE🔽 This medium-sized, compact bag, with its almost bowling bag-like design, is made of patent leather in three different shades: yellow, mother-of-pearl, and midnight blue. The leather's intense shine creates stunning reflections that transform the color, giving it pearly and metallic appearances. For example, observe the captivating yellow patent leather, which, thanks to its hue and the quality of the finish, beautifully catches the light. Viewed from the front, the bag has an almost horizontal rectangular shape, while the sides reveal spherical profiles of mother-of-pearl patent leather, each featuring a perfectly stitched gusset in the center, giving it a teardrop-like appearance. The body of the bag is constructed like a shell. The flap, crafted from yellow patent leather on the exterior and midnight blue on the interior, is adorned with a stunning silver-tone metal hinged clasp. The female clasp is a perforated rectangle on the flap, while the male clasp is a perforated heart on the hinged body of the bag. Lift the heart to insert it into the rectangle, then lower it to close. The back panel, also in yellow patent leather, is decorated at the bottom center with a small silver-tone metal authenticity plaque engraved with "Moschino Bags" and its crest. The front and back panels meet at the base, but a lined base of pearlescent patent leather is added, supported by four round silver-tone metal feet for protection and stability. Each side of the bag features silver-tone metal loops integrated into the leather in the center, allowing the pearlescent patent leather handles to be attached, adding a decorative touch. The interior is like a jewel box, crafted from black satin fabric, lined with the screen-printed "Moschino Bags" logo, and features a wall-mounted zip pocket with a silver-tone metal heart-shaped pull, engraved with the Redwall authenticity number for Moschino. A non-original dust bag is included. 🪞 Vintage condition: "good condition" as the bag has been used a few times. As a reminder, this is a handcrafted, not mass-produced, creation. Micro-irregularities inherent to the material or construction may appear, such as veins or lines beneath the varnish, which are imperceptible to the touch. These are scattered throughout and are a natural consequence of its charm. The flap, due to its movement, has created some fine creases on the back, present at two ends of the edges, and the handles also naturally crease along their curves where there is movement (see photos). Here and there, there are a few micro-scratches in the leather, marks, traces of opacity, and a snag near the bottom of the bag (see photos). The handles have a faded yellow stain, and there are two or three other faded marks as well. Silver-plated metal generally develops rare micro-scratches on the surface; this silver alloy tarnishes naturally, and the inner clasp has slight pitting. The interior fabric has been washed, so there may be some dust. It is clean, the leather is well-polished, and it has been cleaned.
