Moschino Trash Can Chain Shoulder Bag — Grey For Fall/Winter 2017, Jeremy Scott built Moschino's Milan show out of cardboard, bubble wrap and dry-cleaning plastic — gowns that looked like burst bin liners, clothes styled as the garbage itself. This bag is where it was all headed: the trash can, rendered as an evening bag, carried down the runway as Look 43 and released straight off it in the house's see-now-buy-now capsule. It's the purest one-liner of Scott's tenure, and one of the hardest pieces from that collection to find today. The body is a compact, structured cylinder ribbed vertically like a municipal bin, tapering slightly toward the base. The lid carries the punchline: a fluted domed cap with a raised bar handle stamped MOSCHINO, hinged at the back to flip open onto a textile-lined interior. A chunky silver-tone chain attaches at either side, long enough for the shoulder or wrapped around the wrist. Finished in a flat matte grey that reads more like galvanised steel than leather.
