Mulberry Small Bayswater Black Grained Leather Handbag – Vintage c.2005 Beautiful vintage Mulberry Small Bayswater in classic black grained leather with signature antique brass hardware. Purchased by me around 2005 and treasured ever since. This is a gorgeous early Mulberry piece and has been very carefully looked after. The exterior leather is in excellent condition for its age – beautifully soft and supple with a lovely natural grain, and no significant marks or damage. The structure, handles and corners have all been exceptionally well preserved. Features the iconic Mulberry Postman’s Lock fastening, double rolled leather handles, detachable and adjustable shoulder/crossbody strap, internal zipped pocket and original leather clochette with Mulberry padlock. The brass hardware has developed some natural age-related patina/tarnishing, which is to be expected on a vintage bag of this age and adds to its character. The interior does show signs of use and age, as photographed, and I have tried to show this clearly. The exterior, however, remains in beautiful condition. A very special and increasingly hard-to-find vintage Mulberry design from the mid-2000s – approximately 20 years old and a lovely example of classic British Mulberry craftsmanship. Purchased for approximately £1,200. Genuine pre-loved vintage item from my own collection. Please note: scratches/discoloration on the metallic parts, minor oxidation on the clasp, small cracks on the handles, stains inside - please refer to the pictures.
