Vintage PRADA envelope-style bag from the 1980s, crafted in soft deerskin leather. A rare and intellectual piece that reflects Prada’s early experimentation with deconstruction, stripping away traditional bourgeois elements of handbag design. The unlined flap without closure features a sophisticated patchwork of exotic and textured leathers, including natural python and lizard, alongside embossed leather with gear-like motifs reminiscent of futurist influences. Under the flap, the main compartment is secured by a zip closure with leather pull. The interior is completely unlined, consistent with the brand’s radical minimalist approach of the era, featuring a leather PRADA embossed label.
