The asymmetric, curved silhouette is signature to this period: an open-top hobo shape with a soft slouch, finished with a woven canvas shoulder strap trimmed in matching leather and secured by polished silver-tone lobster clasps at each end — allowing the strap to be removed or adjusted. “PRADA” is debossed directly into the leather at the seam, and the interior is fully lined in the house’s classic black jacquard fabric woven with the repeating Prada logo, alongside the metal “PRADA — Made in Italy” tag and a top zip closure. This is a genuinely underappreciated corner of the Prada archive — the perforated leather work from this era doesn’t get the attention Fendi Baguette or Dior Saddle references do, but it’s part of the same Y2K design conversation and increasingly sought after by collectors building out early-2000s Prada.
