An exceptional vintage Beverley handbag from Anya Hindmarch, thought to date from the early 2000s, in rich chocolate brown woven leather with smooth leather details and substantial gold-tone branded hardware. The Beverley is a large, beautifully constructed handbag and this is a particularly impressive one. The body is finely woven from thin leather strips, complemented by sculptural smooth leather panels, a substantial geometric front clasp, gold-tone branded eyelets, protective metal feet, and a leather shoulder handle. The bag has been used very little and exceptionally well maintained. For a piece that is likely over 20 years old, its condition is remarkable and it presents almost as new, with only very slight signs consistent with careful storage and occasional use. Please see the detailed photographs, which are part of the description. The interior is also excellent: clean and beautifully preserved, with multiple practical pockets and compartments. Importantly, the Beverley has continued to be stored in its original bespoke Anya Hindmarch dust bag, bearing the older 'London / AH' bow branding appropriate to that period — a charming surviving accompaniment to an early piece by Anya Hindmarch. A substantial and luxurious bag from an earlier era of the designer's work, when pieces like this were produced with an extraordinary amount of leather, complex construction, and custom hardware.
