Fabulous classic Chanel Vintage Handbag from 2003/2004 Collection. Stylish and practical, this is a day to evening investment you'll love, fitting in everything you could need. Chanel "cross grain" leather from 2003, commonly known as Caviar skin, is made from calfskin (calf hide). This durable, pebbled leather was designed to be scratch and water-resistant, featuring a raised, tactile texture with stitched large leather double 'c' logo on the front. Large gold link (4 x 1") chain either side of the leather strap. Inner silk lining (completely intact) and embossed with double 'c' logo with an inner zip concealed pocked on both sides, both with a gold zip pull with an embossed double 'c' logo. There is a leather zip puller on the main zip of the bag with Chanel embossed in full. There are two useful outer open pockets each end, so you can keep things to hand without having to open the bag. The strap at full height is 9" from bag to centre of strap, so the bag sits beautifully (and safely) under your arm. It holds its shape with nothing inside, so it doesn't collapse down and lose the style. This was well loved for a season and then has been stored away due to lifestyle changes and then it was kept 'for best' and never had a chance to use it again. It is a truly beautiful piece and has many more years of life to offer someone. There a minimal signs of wear, I would say it is in very good condition, however I am erring on the side of caution with Vestiaire's microscopes and categorising it as good condition.
