CHANEL Vintage Matelassé 25 Double Flap Black Lambskin Bijoux Chain Carefully sourced for its distinctive vintage character, this CHANEL Matelassé 25 Double Flap is a beautiful example of the House’s classic black and gold combination. Crafted in soft black quilted lambskin with a burgundy leather interior, the bag features the iconic CC turn-lock and an especially striking Bijoux-style all-metal chain. Unlike the more commonly seen leather-interwoven chain straps, this version features multiple fine gold-tone metal strands, creating a substantial, jewellery-like appearance. The chain has a noticeably heavy feel and gives this vintage Matelassé a particularly elegant and distinctive character. Condition: Good vintage condition with an attractive overall appearance and beautiful character. The black lambskin remains soft and supple, with the Matelassé quilting still nicely defined throughout. There are light to moderate signs of wear consistent with age and use, including some surface marks, light rubbing and wear around the edges and corners. The bag shows some natural softness and minor loss of structure from age, while presenting very well overall. The gold-tone hardware retains a rich, warm vintage gold appearance. The distinctive multi-strand Bijoux chain presents beautifully and is one of the standout features of this piece. The hardware shows scratches and signs of use consistent with its age. The burgundy leather interior is well preserved overall and shows normal vintage signs of use, including some scratches and marks.
