Released for Spring/Summer 2005, the Fendi Spy became one of the defining bags of the mid-2000s almost immediately. A woven leather handle conceals a hidden zip pocket, while the front flap hides a pull-out mirror beneath its clasp, playing directly into the bag's espionage-themed name. It quickly found its way onto celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Lopez, and Paris Hilton, and was a constant presence across front-row fashion coverage at the time. Fendi produced the design in a variety of materials — woven leather, pony hair, crocodile, and python among them — though the denim editions remain some of the most easily identifiable. This blue and white striped version reflects the bohemian-luxe style that shaped much of early-2000s fashion. It's worth mentioning that the Spy has seen renewed demand recently. As interest in mid-2000s designer pieces continues to grow, the Spy — previously undervalued given its cultural significance — has become one of the more actively sought-after It-Bags in the resale space, with denim colourways like this striped example proving especially popular among collectors. Condition: Good, with wear that's largely camouflaged by the denim. A small orange mark appears on the central front flap, noticeable on close inspection and visible in the accompanying photos. There are a few small marks on the rear right panel, though these are barely visible and mostly hidden within the striped pattern. The base has some minor marks in line with normal use, not especially visible against the denim fabric. The woven leather handle shows minimal wear, with no cracking, peeling, or structural issues. Leather trim and corners remain in very good condition, free from rubbing or wear. The front Fendi leather tag is in very good shape. Gold-tone hardware is in very good condition throughout. Interior shows only minimal signs of use and is in excellent pre-owned condition. Includes the original Fendi dust bag.
