Open to offers. This vintage Gucci bag is in good condition for its age (approx. 45 years old). I believe this bag was produced as part of the Gucci Accessory Collection between 1979 and 1983. This is based on my own research which I have summarized below. EXTERIOR: Brown leather, gold-tone hardware (zipper pulls and the Gucci crest pendant). INTERIOR: Brown suede lining. One zippered pocket lined with the GG diamond pattern material. Leather tag with Gucci branding and crest, serial number on the back. It is in good condition inside and out, no holes, stains, tears. All stitching is solid and the zippers work well. However, it is a vintage piece, so there are signs of wear and age as shown in the photos. For those looking for a bag to use/wear: This bag would be ideal for someone looking for a luxury designer item with subtle branding. It is structurally sound, is of a timeless and classic style and has many years of life left in it. For those looking for a rare vintage piece: I have spent A LOT of time researching this bag and so far I have only found one other in Tokyo. I am not an expert so the information below is based on my research and on information I have found from others who seem to be experts. Gucci introduced serial numbers (then called Bev numbers) in the 1950s but rarely used them and in the 70s, bags did not have serial numbers. Then in the late 1970s, Gucci produced the Gucci Accessory Collection, which had a leather tag with rounded edges inside the bag with the serial number embossed in gold letters. Bags from these collections do not always have the gold serial number now as it has faded with use/age. This collection ran from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s. In the early 90s, Gucci changed its serial number tag to a rectangular shape, and I believe the serial number format changed.
