Authentic vintage Gucci Sherry Line tote bag from the Gucci Accessory Collection, dating approximately from the late 1970s to the 1980s. Crafted in Gucci’s iconic beige and brown GG monogram coated canvas with brown leather trim and signature green and red Sherry Line handles. Large and practical silhouette featuring a spacious interior and a generous front pocket with snap closure. The combination of GG monogram and green-red Web detailing is a beautiful precursor to the aesthetic later associated with the Gucci Ophidia line. Original vintage Gucci interior leather label with crest, “Gucci Accessory Collection – Made in Italy” stamp and reference number 40.02.0068. Original Gucci paper label is also still present behind the leather tag. Approximate measurements: 36 × 38 cm. Good vintage condition considering its age. The GG canvas remains attractive and well preserved overall, with visible age-related wear to the brown leather trim, particularly around the upper edges and corners.
