Gucci Vintage Ophidia GG Supreme Web Stripe Tote Bag Authentic vintage Gucci tote bag from the iconic Gucci Accessory Collection, dating approximately from the 1980s. Crafted in Gucci’s signature GG Supreme monogram canvas, with brown leather trim and the iconic green and red Gucci Web stripe handles. The design features a spacious vertical silhouette and a large front pocket finished with a gold-tone turn-lock closure. A beautiful archival Gucci piece and a predecessor to the house’s modern Ophidia aesthetic. The bag is in excellent vintage condition considering its age and exceptionally well preserved throughout. The GG Supreme canvas remains clean and beautifully preserved, with the monogram crisp and clearly defined. The corners are in very good condition, with remarkably little wear for a vintage bag of this age. The Web handles are also beautifully preserved and retain their original green and red colours. The interior is in very good, clean condition, with no significant deterioration. This is particularly noteworthy for a Gucci Accessory Collection piece of this period. The brown leather trim displays only light signs of age-related wear and a natural vintage patina, mainly along some of the leather edging and finishing. These signs are consistent with the age of the piece and contribute to its authentic vintage character without detracting from its overall appearance.
