Sellier construction places the stitching on the exterior, giving crisp top-stitched edges as a structured counterpoint to the kinetic sides. Noir Evercolor carries the fine, even grain the leather is known for with its characteristic faint sheen, deep enough to hold the all-black register while keeping the fringe pattern legible against the body. Palladium hardware stays in the same cool register as the leather, the entire bag worked in a single tonal field, leather, fringe, and the braided gusset all in black. The Birkin 35 Sellier runs in lower volume than the 35 Retourné.
