This is a beautiful, elegant, and authentic vintage 1981 Hermès Trim I shoulder bag. Crafted in the house's classic heritage combination: rugged, tightly woven cream Toile canvas framed by signature "Gold" tan calfskin leather corner guards and shoulder trim. True to the original Trim I design favored by style icons like Jackie Onassis, this bag features an unlined, open-top layout that collectors love for its lightweight flexibility and effortless drape. The front is accented by the iconic gold-plated trigger snap hook/carabiner closure. Condition Exterior Toile Canvas: Pre-owned vintage excellent clean condition. The woven canvas panels are structurally excellent and structurally strong. Shows normal, light surface age shadowing/patina typical of a 1980s cream textile. The tan leather corners and shoulder strap show gorgeous vintage patina, light surface scuffs, and slight handling darkening. The gold-plated central trigger hook is bright and fully functional. Polished Gold-Plated (GHW). Minor surface oxidation/color turning on portions of the metal hardware, typical for vintage gold-plated Hermès pieces from this era.
