This beautiful, classic, and authentic vintage Hermès Trim II shoulder bag was originally designed in 1958 and famously favored by Jackie Onassis. This specific piece is a highly desirable early-generation Trim II, combining a secure, full-length top zipper track closure with an unlined, pocketless raw suede interior that collectors love for its feather-light draping. Crafted from rich, structural dark grey calfskin leather paired with elegant gold-plated hardware, it features a comfortable integrated shoulder strap that relaxes into a chic, casual crescent hobo silhouette. Pre-owned vintage condition. The leather retains great structure and softness. There is a light, visible surface scuff mark on the front face toward the bottom right corner. Minimal wear to the bottom edges. The gold-plated central clasp is bright and fully functional with minor hairline scratches consistent with vintage age. Polished Gold-Plated (GHW). There is minor surface oxidation/color turning on portions of the metal hardware, typical for vintage gold-plated Hermès pieces from this era. The unlined raw suede interior is clean with some pen marks shown in picture but is in very good condition overall.
