Vachetta leather trim & Handles (Important condition notes): The natural cowhide leather shows a strong, dark honey patina; on the main handles, surrounding bands, and edges, age-typical signs of wear, strong darkening, and visible surface abrasion are observed. Bottom edges & Corners: The surrounding leather piping and corners are in stable condition with normal, use-related edge wear at the outermost bottom points. Inner lining & Date code: The brown textile inner lining is clean and neat, but has small spots and discolourations on the inner bottom (see detail photo); the marking with the date code SP1924 (April 1994) is clearly legible on the inner leather tab (see detail photo). Hardware & Rivets: The brass fittings have an authentic vintage patina; on the rivets and eyelets, a material-typical oxidation sheen is observed, which has subtly transferred to the adjacent leather; the double zipper is functional.
