CONDITION/SIZE 🔽 The Italian luxury fashion house Moschino and Smiley have once again teamed up, revisiting the famous logo. This high-end leather goods piece features a central front motif: the warm, smiling face, crafted from galvanic gold wire. The openwork design of this emoticon doubles, almost forming a horizontal figure eight. The smiles intertwine, giving the impression of transforming into the letter X. The bag is made from full-grain calfskin leather, showcasing exceptional leather craftsmanship. Soft and supple to the touch, this leather boasts a satiny, Chantilly white hue. This feeling of softness is expressed through the bag's sculptural, quilted aesthetic. This technique, used in luxury leather goods, involves inserting padding between two pieces of leather to create an all-over quilted relief pattern on the exposed surfaces. In contrast, the method used by mass-produced brands forgoes padding, relying instead on topstitching for decoration.
