Hermès Troy is at 2801 West Big Beaver Road, Suite C-133, inside Somerset Collection South on Level 1. As of September 19, 2026, the boutique lists 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is closed Sunday. For the shortest route, Somerset recommends Level 1 of the Saks Fifth Avenue Parking Structure. Check the Hermès Troy listing before you travel.
The store serves the Detroit metro area from Troy. Call ahead if you need a specialist, want to bring an item for repair assessment or have a short visit window.

Hours and holiday visits
Hermès lists 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on each day from Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday. Somerset’s general hours run later on weekdays and include Sunday, so a mall opening does not mean this boutique is open.
The mall’s Hermès page has older seasonal Sunday text that conflicts with both its main hours and Hermès’ current listing. Treat Sunday as closed unless the boutique confirms an exception. Call +1 947-218-0740 before a holiday or a long drive; special hours may change.

Somerset South, Level 1
Follow signs to Somerset Collection South and the Saks Fifth Avenue Parking Structure. The mall directory suggests Level 1 of that structure for Hermès. Once inside South, look near Tiffany & Co. and Saint Laurent. The mall does not name a dedicated “Hermès entrance,” so use the current directory and signs instead of relying on an old suite number.
Valet, entrance work and access
Somerset lists valet at the North main entrance. If you use it, allow time to cross the mall connection into South. The visitor page does not publish a valet or self-parking price. A separate South-entrance project notice is undated; check it before relying on a particular door.
Hermès is on Level 1, but the mall has not published a complete step-free route from a specific parking bay to the store. For an accessible route or a same-day entrance update, call Somerset concierge at 248-816-2087 or security at 248-816-9765 via the mall visitor page.
SMART bus
The September 2026 SMART map includes Route 460 Woodward Local/Somerset. Check the current SMART timetable and your stop before leaving; the system map alone does not give an indoor route to Hermès.
Walk-ins, appointments and useful calls
The Hermès Troy page posts hours and a phone number but gives no mandatory appointment rule or public booking link. To confirm whether you can walk in on your date or arrange time for a particular department or service, call +1 947-218-0740. Visitors describe walk-in experiences, but those accounts cannot promise immediate service.
“Reservation in Store” is a separate product-hold feature where offered. The Hermès U.S. terms describe a hold after the store confirms an item; they do not turn a product reservation into a Troy shopping appointment. No dependable quietest day or wait time is established for this location.
A useful call covers your visit date, the best South entrance, the category or specialist you want, and what to bring for a repair or exchange. Ask about an item you hope to see, but plan for stock to change.
What you can shop and ask about
The Troy listing names apparel, handbags, scarves, home goods, fragrance and shoes; it also marks Beauty and Apple products available. These categories tell you what the store carries, not whether a specific size, color or bag is on the shelf today.
At opening, Hermès also described watches and jewelry, equestrian pieces and a VIP suite in its 2021 announcement. If you are traveling for one of those departments, call first to ask what can be shown during your visit.
Repairs and in-store terms
Hermès care guidance says leather bags and garments must be brought to a store for assessment. Staff then determine whether work is possible, the price and the timing. Call Troy before making a special trip with an item; the guidance does not say the repair is done on site.
Ask for the boutique’s return or exchange terms before paying, especially for a gift or an item bought outside the United States. The U.S. terms distinguish store sales from web orders; web return terms should not be assumed to cover a Troy purchase.
Birkin, Kelly and other bags at Troy
Hermès lists handbags at Troy, but the store page gives no live model inventory. A Birkin or Kelly visit therefore starts with a conversation about your preferences, not a promise of an offer. Our Birkin guide and Kelly guide can help you decide which size and shape to ask about.
No Troy spending requirement or reliable prespend ratio is published. In a Troy shopper discussion, people reported different purchase histories and outcomes, including substantial spending without an offer. Those accounts cannot tell you what another shopper must buy or when a bag will be offered. Buy other items because you want them, and keep any bag request specific to the model, size and color you would actually use.
Hermès has not published a Troy rule saying whether online orders, leather purchases, another boutique’s history or changing associates count toward a bag request. A 2026 visitor discussion includes a reported first-visit Picotin purchase, which shows a possible experience but says nothing about today’s stock. See our Picotin guide for the bag itself.
If you would also shop online for non-quota bags, BagUSeek’s free Hermès online restock alerts can tell you when tracked bags appear on the U.S. site. Online alerts are separate from a Birkin or Kelly offer at Troy.
A practical first visit
Start with the boutique’s current hours, then check the mall’s South-entrance notice. Park on Level 1 of the Saks structure if that route works for you. Inside, use Tiffany & Co. and Saint Laurent to find the store. If you are time-limited or need step-free access, call before leaving.
Ask for the department or bag style you came to see. If you bring a bag for care, expect an assessment rather than an immediate repair quote. Before buying, ask about that store’s return terms and keep the receipt. Somerset’s ordinary dress rules require shirts and shoes; there is no published Troy-specific luxury dress code.
Michigan’s Treasury guidance lists a 6% sales tax and no city sales tax. Michigan also has use-tax rules for taxable purchases brought in from another state, so a trip to a neighboring boutique is not automatically a tax saving.
Opening and store design
Hermès opened the Troy boutique on June 11, 2021, calling it its first Michigan address. The opening announcement credits Paris design firm RDAI and describes a storefront in St. Clair stone, American oak floors and materials chosen with the Detroit region’s lakes, forests and rock formations in mind.
The current boutique listing says Suite C-133, while the opening announcement used Space C-139. Use the current suite for your visit; the public record does not explain the number change. “Hermès Detroit” refers to the metro market, not an address in Detroit city limits.
Troy and regional Hermès stores
Troy is the listed Michigan boutique and the direct choice for a Somerset visit. Chicago, Wilmette and Chagrin Falls offer different settings if those places fit your travel. The comparison helps you plan where to go; it cannot predict a Birkin or Kelly offer.
