Moschino vintage collection handbag in collaboration with the luxury leather goods label "Redwall", material suede leather and metal, multi-color. CONDITION/SIZE🔽 Long purse handbag, made from high-quality, resistant, and durable suede leather. Almost triangular shaped bag body with a spectacular orange leather base, as its contours are first adorned with a border of blue suede leather chiseled into triangles and long fringes in turquoise blue and terracotta orange. Like the art of marquetry for wood, which consists of creating a decoration by arranging different wood veneers, the same method is used here, only the material differs. Observe the body of the bag which features wide horizontal bands of suede leather whose shapes are irregular with wavy outlines and topstitching with ecru thread. Each band represents a color: red, dark brown, orange, blue, purple, and pink. The front and back faces, from the middle, split to define the opening. It can be seen that the upper inner faces are lined with dark brown suede leather, the profile edges are decorated with trimmings in blue suede leather, cut into small triangles with overlays of dark brown topstitched leather. Above the bag, it can be seen that the ends of the borders terminate in rigid suede openings to accommodate superb, removable, twisted handles in gilded metal. Once inserted, the handles create beautiful gathers on the color bands. To mark the middle of the profiles and reinforce the starting point of the slits, a set of two round suede leather patches with chiseled triangle borders, in different shades, sewn one on top of the other with the addition of a twisted crown of gilded metal and in the center a tassel of fringes in orange and blue suede leather. Interior in black satin fabric, covered with the white "Redwall" logo, equipped with a zipped wall pocket with its gilded metal slider engraved with the "Authenticity number/Made in Italy/Moschino/Redwall". Non-original dust bag present. 🪞Vintage condition very good as the bag was used a few times but I am leaving it as "good condition" because long storage had left humidity marks on the inner sides of the leather, I decided to use professional suede dyes to dye certain parts of the bag. As a reminder, this is an artisanal and not industrial creation, micro-irregularities or non-uniform dyeing may appear. The gilded metal handles have slight wear which is shown by the color fading and micro-scratches (photo). The pores of the suede leather skin appear darker, this is natural! (photo). A few brown dye spots here and there (photo). The interior dyeing creates a tie-dye effect. It is visible that the bag has been little used because the general suede leather is clean, there is no dirt but only pressure marks or coloring spots.
